After breakfast check out from Munnar and proceed to Thekkady. Check in at Thekkady Hotel and proceed for Thekkady sightseeing. As you wind your way up the road, the wooded terrain clears to reveal a breathtaking spectacle of rolling tea and cardamom plantations. Fill your lungs with fresh mountain air; savor the rich fragrance of cinnamon and cloves. Thekkady is situated 2800 ft. above sea level; the climate is pleasantly cool throughout the year. Periyar is South India’s most popular wildlife sanctuary. This is the only wild life sanctuary in India that offers the unique opportunity of viewing wild life in their natural habitat at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. After a guided spice plantation tour in the afternoon (optional at extra cost), enjoy a boat ride in the lake and if you are lucky you can watch young elephants drinking at the water’s edge. After the breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Alleppey. By 12.00 noon. Check in hotel. The town is among the oldest planned towns in India and is famous for its several backwater canals, beaches, paddy fields and lagoons. Alleppey is iconic for its houseboats cruises in the backwaters and attracts thousands of visitors each year.The ‘Venice of the East’, as Alleppey is fondly known as, is a beautiful place and indescribable by words. Alappuzha backwater cruises that would take you to stunning locales in and around the place. The extent of the cruise would of course, be dependent on the amount of time you want to spend gazing at the beauty of backwaters. Alappuzha is blessed with extravagant, natural flora and fauna that you can see when you drift along on the cruises. Alappuzha is also the traditional hub of Kerala, and hence, there are plenty of activities that you can do there. Overnight stay at Alleppey.
After breakfast, check out from hotel proceed to Cochin. After arrival in Cochin local sightseeing will be done as per time allows. Then drop at Cochin railway station or airport. Drop on Time.
